Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Post by Born2beSlicker »

Did you enjoy AC Origins or Odyssey but prefer Vikings in England? Then have I got the game for you.

This looks cool but Odyssey was huuuuuge. Like, anxiety inducing gigantic. That’s the single biggest thing that makes me not want to play this. The Ubisoft open world formula can only go so far.

See I've not played an Assassin's Creed since black flag so I think its about time for me to give it a go again. I've seen loads of hands on but this trailer really is making me questions which of the Ubi open worlds to get.

It seems that the game is less of an Odyssey 2 (Origins 3) than people expected, going by the previews. I can’t deny, it looks really cool. I will be going WatchDogs though as it will undoubtedly be shorter and more manageable. The AC games have essentially turned into Witcher 3 in a new time period.

Because every game needs to be a live service game. The season pass and post-launch content plan was revealed. Much like Odyseey, there’s going to be enough game for easily over 100 hours of playtime.

I really want to see it running on Series X, if it's anything like the deep dive trailer then I'm 100% in.

The DLC stuff looks cool, but there looks like loads of content in the game anyway so I'll just hold on and if I really plough a load of time into it I'll get the DLC/season pass later.

I've played most of the AC games and liked them all though Oddysey left me cold. This looks ace though and graphically looks very next gen. Always been fascinated by viking history so well up for this.

Lol, this is a very pretty game, but next-gen? Nope. I'm really enjoying it on PC, it's a good game, but I prefer Odyssey. Eivor, in both male and female forms, is a rubbish protagonist - coming from the amazing Kassandra of Sparta in Odyssey, it's really jarring just how bad Eivor is.

Still, I get to chop people's heads of in Leicester and Norwich. ;)

I'm really enjoying it, I've hardily played any assassins creed games though as I'm generally terrible at stealth.

I can't believe how huge this games is. I'm still in Norway(?) and I know this is like a tiny fraction of a starter level. Being mainly playing on my monitor with VRR, but had it on the TV once or twice and there is tearing, not as bad as i've seen in some reviews, but the VRR makes it so smooth, really need to get a TV with it.
